Description:
This is a vintage silver mounted Kelly bit probably from the 1940’s. Kelly is listed in Bit and Spur Makers in the Texas Tradition by Ned and Jody Martin. It is marked Kelly on the port. The bit is steel mounted with nickel silver. When laid flat on a table there is a little bit of rock. One ring sits about 1/16” off the table. There is some rust build up on the steel and marks on the mountings from use. This would be a nice bit to add to a collection or could still be used today.

Measurements: Cheek Pieces 6 ⅛”, Mouth (measured between cheeks) 5 ⅛”, Port Height (measured from top of port to bottom of bars) 1 ¼”, Mouth Diameter ½”, Weight 10.8 ounces
