Description:
Captain is a 9 year old grade gelding that is easy to catch and stands tied quietly for anything that you would like to do. Captain’s favorite thing to do is go out on trail rides. He has been ridden in the city in heavy traffic as well as rural desert areas. He will go out alone or in groups, he doesn’t mind. Captain has a nice handle on him and will neck rein or direct rein. He has a good stop, backs up well, sidepasses and picks up both leads.



Captain has also been ridden by a rodeo queen and carried flags, parades and stepped in to do a few drill team practices. He is a really laid back horse, prefers to be a trail horse and is a bit too lazy to be a performance horse. He would be the best match for someone just wanting to do slow work or trail ride. He is not spooky and is an excellent trail horse.



Captain is healthy and sound. We have done a lameness exam on him, he trots 100% sound on hard ground in both directions and passes flexion tests perfectly. Vet checks welcome. This is a really nice gelding that is priced to sell.
