Description:
As the Ranch & Facilities Manager, you will be responsible for any/all tasks associated with the operations and maintenance of property, including but not limited to:



- Monitoring and repair of water systems and lines

- Manage all aspects of a cow/calf operation and it’s future growth

- Manage rangeland pastures for livestock, sheep and cattle

- Maintain and keep fences clean and standing

- Check Cows

- Work, medicate, haul and sell calves

- Checks waterers and wells

- Maintenance and upkeep of waterers and wells

- Maintain road systems

- Maintain tractors and implements

- Operate equipment and tractors

- Check housing for readiness of guests

- General plumbing, carpentry and electrical work when needed

- Willingness to be hands on and work hard

- Fill wildlife feeders

- Scout and monitor wildlife for guest hunting

- Guide and assist with family and commercial hunters

- Wildlife management practices including culling of does and undesirable bucks, running game cameras and keeping accurate harvest records.

- Oversee, direct and work beside 1 ranch employee



The spouse of the ranch manager will be responsible for:

- Keeping the houses clean and ready for guests

- Picked up during guest stays

- Cooking when guests are on premises

- Monitoring houses for repairs and upkeep



Qualifications:

Previous ranch manager experience required.
