Description:
This is a pair of new handmade mounted slotted conchos made by Robert Evans. Robert is a bit and spur maker originally from Amarillo, Texas. His work is illustrated in Bits & Spurs Motifs, Techniques and Modern Makers by Ned & Jody Martin. Robert has been building bits, spurs, and cowboy hardware since 1994. The conchos are domed steel with a dark iron finish mounted with engraved nickel silver flower and leaves. There is a copper dot in the center of the flower mounted flush with the nickel silver. They are 1 ¼” diameter with a ½” slot. They would work on a headstall, pair of spur straps, or chaps.
