KSU Hot N Shiney is a 2013 son of ER Hot Chex, AQHA Performance Champion and earner of 620 AQHA points in calf roping, heeling, reining, and working cowhorse. They don’t come much cuter than this stout-made, 4-year-old gelding. “Stoney” turns heads everywhere he goes and is an instant favorite with everyone who meets him because of his friendly disposition. This athletic gelding has loads of experience on the ranch and is our go-to horse no matter the task at hand and for putting a more novice rider on to help gather pastures. Dragging calves, sorting, loading the tub and alley, tagging and doctoring calves, as well as, being hauled to multiple ranch rodeos and shows is just a short list of what Stoney is well accustomed to for his everyday job as a using horse. These experiences and skills, combined with his natural self-carriage are what make this fun-loving gelding an easy pick to put you in the money competitively in heeling, breakaway, calf roping, working cowhorse or ranch riding. Stoney will make an outstanding all-around ranch and show horse for anyone. This gelding will be sold at the Kansas State University Legacy Sale on March 3, 2017 at the Stanly Stout Center in Manhattan, KS.
