Description:
This is a pair of handmade double mounted spurs made by well-known and highly collectible bit and spur maker Jerry Wallace from Madill, Oklahoma. Jerry has won numerous awards including the prestigious Adolph Bayers award. Jerry is listed in Bit and Spurs, Motifs, Techniques and Modern Makers by Ned and Jody Martin. The spurs are marked JW 09 inside the heel bands, the back of the buckles are marked JW, and the conchos are marked JW on the prongs. They are mounted in nickel silver and brass. The straps were made by Rachel Scribner and are maker marked. This would make a great pair of spurs to add to a collection by a highly sought after maker.
