Lefty is a nine year old gelding. He is a great little pony that is easy to get along with and ride. He has a really good handle on him. He neck reins and has an excellent stop. Lefty will stand for mounting and dismounting. He will back up and side pass. Lefty has been rode around the ranch by my son. He can open gates and you can swing a rope on him. He has a nice smooth trot and can keep up with the big horses with ease. Lefty is a nice stout pony with good feet. We have taken him with us to the mountains on hunting trips and he has always taken good care of my son. He has never bucked with him or run off. My son can groom, saddle, catch and load him by himself. Lefty isn’t barn sour and will ride off by himself. This is a really nice pony that handles like a big horse. He would be the perfect pony for a kid who wants to ride with their parents and do a little ranch work or trail riding.
