Description:
Very remote private guest ranch in southwest Montana looking for experienced horse hand/laborer for 2017 season, May through October weather permitting.



-Physical ability and willingness to learn how to drive and shoe horses is mandatory.

-Proven riding and horsemanship abilities.

-Match guests with horses and suitable rides, considering the skill level and needs.

-Attend to the care of all 45 ranch horses.

-Maintain barn area daily.

-Experience or ability to safely use and maintain tools and equipment.

-Preform any other ranch chores as needed. Including, but not limited to, the following: care and use of chainsaws, trail clearing, fencing and splitting/distribution of firewood.

-Ability to work independently and complete tasks in the absence of supervision.



Flexibility and working long hours, including weekends and holidays is mandatory. Four years experience and a valid drivers license is required.



You will be living and working on the ranch full-time, you will be able to leave ranch once during summer for 5 days paid vacation.
