Description:
Currently looking for a full time employee on a family farm and ranch in central south dakota. We currently run about 1200 cows that we calve out in the spring and farm about 3500 acres There are two other full time employees that are great to work with. We breed most of the cows and heifers by artificial insemination and put numerous embryos in recip cows. Experience in that field would be nice but not required. We typically use four wheelers when we work with cattle. We have an annual show calf sale in the fall, and a bred heifer sale in the winter. Most of the help will be with cattle and haying. We provide a place to live on one of the locations. We are about 25 miles away from a town of 1500 people. Would like to hire somebody to start working by March as that is when we start to calve.
