Description:
Dave is a bay ranch gelding that is 14.3 hands , 1125 lbs, black footed wears a # 1 shoe , thick made with lots of conformation,made like the old timey quarter horses used to be, short and thick, a kind eye, a good wither, and broke to death, has a big turnaround and a killer stop. I got him off a good cowboy west of us . He has been used his whole life doctoring wheat and grass cattle, sorting cattle in the pens and has caught lots of wild cattle outside, also used in ranch rodeos in the mugging and wild cow milking, calf branding , and sorting. He has the best dog trot you can have on a ranch horse. Dave has all the cowboy manners a good gelding can have. Hauls well in our ranch trailers and backs out when told.

There are not many ranch geldings this good that can be bought that’s as good as Dave. He has been ridden correctly . Every time his foot touches the ground its in the rite place. He never picks his head above the saddle horn . Dave is super stout by the horn , ground ties , easy to be around. He is the good kind every cowboy wants to own .

Dave is 100% sound and sane ! He is up to date on shoeing, health papers, and vaccinations.



Dave is as good as anyones ranch horse and better than most I have seen in my 40 yrs of cowboying. He is good minded and doesn’t get rattled when the rope gets tite.
