Description:
Gently used Double J Team Roping Saddle made in Slocum, Texas. 15 inch seat. Includes matching collar and back cinch and wool front cinch. Full oak leaf tooling. Includes a single ear headstall in oak leaf pattern with silver-tone hardware made to use with this saddle. Saddle was a special order never picked up when I got it in 1990. To bomk it is a model SCR909A as shown on doublejsaddlery.com. I bitb FQHB and it has fit well on both quarter horses and a thoroughbred using a felt pad and wool blanket. It is very pretty and is also a workin’ grade, good usin’ saddle. Mostly rode in by a cowboy’s non-roper wife, it could get the job done if needed in a pinch. We never buy junk tack but have switched to Wades now. Weighs 50 lbs. Always properly stored. Does not have turned stirrups but has had long hours put into making it user comfortable. Shipping (with tracking and insurance) is included to lower 48. Must transact using PayPal. (Rope shown with headstall is not included). Possibly cross posted.
