Description:
Jackpot is a 9 year old, 15.2 hand, 1300#, solid black ranch gelding. This is a big, stout, strong made gelding, that is put together really nice. He’s very shapey, big hipped, tail to the ground, good foot and bone, and a good set of withers to hang a saddle on. Before coming to Boyd Ranch, Jackpot was in the Texas Panhandle working feedlots, taking care of wheat pasture cattle, day working, and going to Ranch Rodeos. He’s been in good hands and used by the whole family for everything on the ranch. He’s drug lots of calves at brandings, caught a ton of them outside, Very stout by the horn and can easily rope a bull or drag a grown cow in a trailer. This is a very gentle horse that has lots of manners, has been treated right, and is very good minded. This horse gets attention everywhere he goes and not just because of his good looks, he has a ton of ability as a ranch horse to go with it!
