Chickie is a cute little bay roan mare, standing just 13.3 hh. She is close to the ground but stout enough to carry an adult with no problem. She is AQHA registered as RRC Hancocks Cutter, AQHA #5447693. She has no buck in her and doesn’t need to be ridden every day to stay gentle. Chickie is dog gentle on the ground and loves to be around people. We saddled her up and hopped on and she did not offer to buck even after being off for years. She is green but gentle and willing and very smart. We have ridden her in the arena, out in the pasture, pushed cattle, and have even done some obstacles with her. She stands still for saddling and mounting, and rides quietly on a loose rein. She is a very pretty mover, has nice smooth gaits and really travels out when riding in the pasture. She will work off your leg and can open and shut a gate. She is going to make a super nice horse with some more wet saddle blankets. Chickie is athletic and can go in any direction you choose, whether you are looking for a ranch horse, breakaway horse, trail horse, or eventually a kids horse, she could do it all. She naturally picks up the correct lead, lopes a pretty circle, can do beautiful flying lead changes out in the pasture, and has a heck of a stop to her already. CHickie would make an excellent project for an experienced teen. Asking $1500 for Chickie. She is sound with no health issues or old injuries, and she is good for the farrier.
