This is the kind of gelding it takes a lifetime to find. This is a very well bred gelding that was started right and is very calm, quiet and gentle. Very well broke, bridles up, picks up both leads, lopes nice circles, side passes and has all the buttons. Tons of ranch and cattle experience, has been used outside to drag calves to the branding fire, and used to ride pastures and doctor cattle. Well started in the team roping and has roped both ends. Fonzi is as nice of a horse to be around as you can get. He’s friendly, has a great personality, likes people and other horses, but yet is well mannered and respectful of a persons space. Fonzi rides in the arena, out on the ranch or city trails completely quiet and confident. HE IS NOT SPOOKY. Not barn sour or buddy sour, rides honest. Goes out alone with confidence even in new surroundings, or settles in anywhere on group rides and doesn’t rush to the front. Crosses water, goes up and down mountains, will cross any obstacle. Stays gentle, even when left stalled all week with no turnout. No round penning or longing required, just saddle and go. Loads, unloads and hauls excellent. Never nervous, always quiet and gentle. Stands tied quietly, never paws or whinnies. Stands quietly to bathe, groom, clip, shoe, tack up and mount. Easy to bridle. Never cinchy, and has never offered to buck, not even a little crow hop. NO vices or issues - Doesn’t crib, weave, set back, etc. This is a hard to find, stout and heavy made gelding with good bone and a big foot. Correct confirmation and a super cute face. Easy for anyone to ride, great confidence builder. Has been ridden by complete beginner riders and takes care of them. This is the kind of horse that anyone would be proud to own, he’s just 7 years old, all the hard work is done. He has a fantastic disposition, he is kind hearted, has a soft eye, and is very willing. Absolutely a head turner, photos don’t do him justice, he’s the kind that everyone is always taking about how good looking he is.
