Description:
Hi, we are a family with a small farm in Capitan, NM. We are looking for someone who is interested in taking care of our animals (currently 3 horses, a pony, a mini, a goat and chickens). This animal count increases significantly prior to fair time. We are looking for someone to tend our animals, ride the horses to keep them fresh, give roping and riding lessons to our kids, repair fences and do general handy man work. We will offer all room and board in your own private guest house. The guest house is livable but needs work and that would be one of the main jobs, initially. We would pay a small salary in addition. You can keep your animals on the property and have use of a trailer, if you happen to rodeo. In addition, you would have plenty of time to find other ranch jobs in the area, for which we could help you find for training/riding horses, etc. MUST have clean background check, be good with kids and animals, be proficient rider and roper (heel and head) and have general handyman skills.
