Description:
SOLD*****Gently used shank snaffle by long time maker Lonnie Davis of John Day, Oregon. Although Lonnie has been making since the “50’s” his work rarely shows up for sale. Now in his “80’s , Lonnie’s goal still is to make attractive, functional gear for the working cowboy. This bit is a good example of his workmanship. The shanks are 6 ¼” to the rein ring. The 5 1/8” mouth has copper inlaid strips on the backside to promote saliva for softness. Marker marked LD on inside left shank under bridle ring. $245.00 includes shipping to the lower 48.
