Description:
This is a ?silver overlay, or Monel overlayed prison bit, it has been very nicely done, domed conchos on the cheeks, bit is a iron bit, so has the normal rust from use, there are no maker marks I can see, the bit is in good usable condition, however, it would look good in someone’s collection...

bit measures 8 x 5, all silver is still tightly held, I do not know which prison this came from, but we have other similar bits and Spurs, and this closely resembles work done in Walla Walla prison, but I am no expert, you decide for your self.... Either way it’s a cool bit
