Description:
This is an exceptional pair of spur straps and handmade buckles by two award winning makers. The spur straps were made by Casey Jordan and the buckles were made by Kevin Burns. Casey is from Phoenix, Arizona and has won several awards for his leather work and his work is also displayed in the Pro Rodeo Hall of Fame. He won the 2009 Art of the Cowboy Makers Champion Saddle Maker and the People’s Choice Saddle Maker. The straps are floral carved, lined, and stitched. They are marked with Casey’s maker stamp. Kevin Burns is from Stinnett, Texas. Kevin won the 2008 Adolph Bayers Award and is listed in Bits & Spurs Motifs, Techniques and Modern Makers by Ned & Jody Martin. The buckles are steel and are full overlaid with engraved nickel silver and brass. The back of the buckles are marked Burns. They are attached to the straps with chicago screws. This would be a nice pair of straps to add to your collection or to wear.
