Description:
We are a constantly growing business and are in need of additional ranch hands to help in our operation. At J&J cattle we precondition large numbers of high risk light weight calves. Cattle are purchased 6 days a week from local sale barns, hauled in and processed and turned out to precondition. We are seeking an individual that is highly motivated and who has some experience with pulling and treating sick cattle. We have an excellent team of guys that work well together and need very little direction. This is a very fast paced job with little down time due to new cattle arriving daily. Job duties will include checking and doctoring cattle, working cattle, feeding, and various ranch jobs as needed. Being a family business we know and understand the importance of family and do our best to get everyone off at a decent time each day. We take great pride in our business and our employees and value the experience and talents that each brings to the table. This is a 5 1/2 day a week job (half day on Saturday and off on Sunday).
