Description:
Outfitter operating 40+ years looking for an all-around hand for the 2016 season. We are a small, owner operated outfitter featuring multi-day horseback camping trips with guests from around the globe. We are NOT a dude ranch. We are currently seeking a MALE employee 25 years of age or older. You will be part of the core staff of three, no job is too big or small for anyone on our staff. We work long or short days until the job is done. You will be tending horses, tending water, entertaining guests on trips, ensuring the guests don’t fall off their mounts, cleaning tack, mowing the lawn, fixing things that break, driving truck and trailer, loading hay, riding a colt or two, setting up camp, etc. The ideal candidate gets the big picture, can take pride in their work, and treats our tack, equipment, and horses as if they were their own. “This is 90% the hardest work you’ve ever done, 8% riding trips, and 2% the best job you’ve ever had,” according to former long term employees. If you love mountains and redrock, horses, small towns, and the outdoors… you already know this is the job you’ve been looking for!

Priority is given to a MALE applicant who can do some heavy lifting.



Start date: Immediately

Pay: Depending on experience + guest tips + room + board



Bonus skills: Shoeing or Cooking



Other requirements: BLS CPR and/or Wilderness First Responder, clean driving record.
