Description:
Cattle Herdsman needed for a New Mexico, Fullblood Wagyu Cattle Ranch. Herdsman will work under Ranch Manager on this 28,000 acre ranch and will be responsible for the health and care of the herd, including calving, providing preventative health measures, treatment and overseeing nutrition. Will also be responsible for assisting with Artificial Insemination, Embryo Transfer, etc. Calving takes place virtually year round. Will also assist with the logistics of cattle auctions



Herdsman will need to already know or be willing to learn cattle blood lines, breeding, and electronic tracking. Must have good organizational skills with a strong attention to detail. Good computer skills is preferred. A big plus if candidate has B.S. in Animal Science or a related field.
