FOR SALE Half Breed Douglas 38 Wade - absolutely the most comfortable saddle Ive ridden in! Very deep seated for a close contact feel. If your looking for a tough using saddle to ride all day and get the job done this is the one you want on your horse. This custom saddle made by Ted Estes, is less than a year old ridden in a couple handful of times on multiple horses.Exellent like new condition. Sits a variety of horses Very well with 93 Degree bars. Built on a tough Rick Reed Tree that will last a lifetime. 7/8ths flat-plate rigging has Jerimiah Watt stainless steel hardware throughout. 16" seat, 4" cantle, 4 ½" finished Guadalajara horn cap with a mule hide wrap and an Oregon cross over rope strap. The skirting is number 1 grade heavy Hermann Oak leather, latigos and strings are also H/O. Stirrups are 5" Lined stainless, laminated monel . Fenders have the Hamley twist wraps for comfort and that broke in feel. Saddle is lined underneath with 1" thick bark tanned shearing wool.. Saddle weighs around 40 lbs fully rigged $2900 firm.
