HESE ARE A USED SET OF ROMAL REINS MADE BY RICOTTI SADDLERY IN 2002.. THEY HAVE BEEN USED BUT ARE IN EXCELLENT SHAPE.. THEY HAVE BEEN KEPT IN A CLIMATE CONTROLLED TACK ROOM, HAVE ALWAYS BEEN HUNG UP DETACHED FROM BRIDLE, AND HAVE REGULARLY BEEN CLEANED AND CONDITIONED. THE REINS ARE 42” AND THE ROMAL IS 36”.. THE PATTERN IS BEAUTIFUL.. 5 - 1/2” KNOTS FOLLOWED BY ONE - 1 ¾ BARREL, REPEATED 3 TIMES.. BOTH REINS AND ROMAL ARE 12 PLAIT, REINS ARE 5/16 DIAMETER AND ROMAL IS 1/2”PLUS. THEY HAVE A GREAT FEEL TO THEM..NOT TOO STIFF— WITH GREAT WEIGHT AND PERFECT BALANCE. CONNECTORS FOR BRIDLE AND REINS TO ROMAL ARE LEATHER WITH TURKS HEAD KNOTS. VERY BEAUTIFUL LOOKING AND BEAUTIFULLY MADE SET!!!
