Description:
This Ranch job description would probably best be described as primarily ranch maintenance, corrals, fence, pipe line, as well as taking care of large covered rodeo arena. Also there is quite a bit of truck driving both an EZ Ration Processor feed truck and a Peterbilt (18 speed) hauling hay (large square bales). All the hay fed throughout the winter months is hauled in.

We do all our cow work horse back in some pretty rough country, but the horse back portion is still a small percentage of the overall job.

We would have part to full time work for the wife too, which could range from cleaning rental cabins, cleaning bathrooms, showers, office and announcer’s stand at an indoor rodeo arena, to receptionist/secretary duties, or computer and office work depending on what might be the best fit. This is not a guest ranch but we do help put on several youth rodeos in the community.

This job would probably best fit a young couple looking to raise a family in a small rural ranching community with a great school system with very small classes.

This is a family ranch that has grown as has some of our related ranch businesses, but the ranch is still primarily operated as a family ranch.

We will provide housing but would expect you to take care of your own utilities, so if you want every light on and the thermostat at 90 all winter it is your choice and on your nickel. We would not expect you to use your own vehicle for work. We will provide a vehicle and gas for it for work purposes only.
