Description:
This is a set of six new handmade silver mounted slotted conchos made by Cecil Blasingame of Canyon, Texas. They are marked Blasingame. Cecil Blasingame has spent his entire life as a working cowboy and became interested in spur making over thirty years ago. Today Cecil makes bits, spurs, cowboy hardware, and cowgirl jewelry. Cecil is among the select group of spur makers to provide spurs for the Texas Style Bit and Spur Makers Association Woman’s Protective Services auction along with other top makers. The conchos are domed steel with a dark iron finish mounted with engraved nickel silver bars. They are 1 ˝” diameter with a ˝” slot. They would work on a saddle or a pair of chaps or chinks.
