I am honest, reliable and self starter. I have worked on big outfits and small. Worked in the brush and in the wheat fields. My wife and I are willing to relocate.



The cowboy way of life is a unique livelihood. Many people never have the ability to truly understand the beauty and challenges ranch life provides. I have spent my life focused on cattle and horse ranching. Unless one inherits a ranch, the beginnings rarely occur. I have been blessed to maintain a small horse ranch while my children were finishing school. Our move from a large ranch to our own small place, enabled my family some experiences they would not have had otherwise.



I believe in a full day’s work and staying true to the brand.



Horse Ranch (2008) – Family organization where we have been successfully begun developing a performance horse and breeding program.



Range Management – Working with the NRCS office for land development and preservation: Mesquite eradication/management, installing solar water pumping and storage station, waterline, and drinkers.



Horse training – An emphasis is based in creating a well-rounded horse which will respond to appropriate rider cues. Home-grown horses and outside horses. Training to include: imprinting, ground work, behavioral management, taking horses at different levels of ability and finish for a variety of ranching or performance events, based in ability. Outside horses – Work with the current owner on the training and needs of their horse upon their return to include: consultation, demonstration, and riding sessions to teach the owner proper techniques to maintain appropriate behavior/performance with their horse, periodic maintenance sessions if needed.



Feed/Heath Management – Development of feed regiment based upon the needs of the individual horse. Grooming and cleaning of horse and facilities. Collaboration with certified veterinarian, chiropractic, and dental professionals when needed.



Adaptation of Breeding – Focus is based on raising a well-balanced horse based on foundation and performance breeding, mare and stud handling, and foal rearing.
