Description:
Cutting horse training and breeding operation in beautiful Brenham Texas seeking ranch hand to assist with management and training of cutting horses and veterinary breeding operation. Housing provided. Small private secluded cabin recently installed. Covered arena and round pen. Small showing operation with trips to the triple crown events in Fort Worth three times a year. Minimal travel but enough to keep it interesting. Opportunity to learn a lot both in the saddle and out. Previous colt starting skills required. Duties may include some ranch chores as horse numbers and staffing fluctuates with the season. These chores may include fence repair, cattle doctoring, stall cleaning, mowing, weed eating, horse turn out, foal medicating, barn feeding and tractor shredding.
