The ideal individual needs to have experience working with and around horses. We have brood mares and foals, a breeding stallion, a small string of trail horses and everything in between. You must have a genuine love and compassion for horses and their well being. Gaited horse experience is preferred, but not an absolute requirement. This individual must be hard working, honest, reliable, possess a positive attitude and have pride in their work. They must be neat and clean both individually and in their daily living routine. This position is anticipated to be working hand in hand with the ranch manager caring for, and maintaining, our herd of Missouri Fox Trotters, along with other duties as assigned (ie; cleaning and maintaining our facility, cleaning/janitorial duties, housekeeping, yard work, landscaping, gardening, cleaning of vehicles and equipment, etc.) Self motivation and being able to work well individually or with others is required. This individual must be able to complete duties as assigned without always being under direct supervision. Salary plus housing and utilities are provided. We are seeking a long term candidate, however, if seasonal is something that might currently be of interest to you, and might lead in to a full time desire, please don’t hesitate to send your resume for us to consider.
