Description:
This position is for a general, all-around ranch hand. Duties of this position will include but are not limited to;livestock management, pasture management, flood irrigating, calving, doctoring horses and cattle, all aspects of haying, vehicle maintenance and repair, carpentry, welding and fabrication, building/corral maintenance, landscaping, operating tractors, and other typical ranch chores. Applicants should have a strong work ethic and be willing to work as part of a team and independently, This is not a “cowboy” position. Horses are used to move, check and doctor cattle, and ATV’s are used as well. The housing is a modern 2 bedroom log cabin.
