Description:
Cub is a 1.5yr. old ASCA/AKC registered female Australian shepherd, I bought her as a pup from Boyd Ranch Aussies. She knows the basic obedience: down, come, load up, stay, stays in the back of the truck even while another dog is working. I have been working her on sheep and she has a short outrun and will bring them but if they are too far away and very spread out she still tends to go through the middle of them. She is getting her side commands and has a good down on livestock. I have taken her horse back and 8 or so times moving cows horseback, but her interest in cattle seems to come and go she may just be a late starter, I have never had her leave me she just doesn’t get in and want to work the cows as consistently as she does the sheep.

In the video I show her working the sheep, on some yearlings calves, and loading in the truck.

She is a very fast learner I had her downing and staying with other dogs around at 5 months. She loves people, enjoys fetching a ball, and will down and stay while other dogs are fetching.
