Description:
South central Montana ranch seeking full time ranch hand. We are a diversified cow calf and haying operation. We have an outstanding crew that all contribute to the success of ranch and are rewarded accordingly. We put up our own hay and irrigate by pivot, wheel line, and flood. Daily duties during calving and haying can be 7 days a week. We strive to maintain a very professional operation with a firm commitment to the cattle industry and to a sustainable wildlife stewardship program. Facilities, vehicles, and equipment are maintained to the highest standards. Horses are used primarily for cattle work, but some ATV use is essential to maintaining fences and water and checking cattle. Strong background in hay farming and equipment maintenance is a plus. If you have a stronger farming background than a cattle background but would like to learn the other side don’t hesitate to call.
