700 acre multi species ranch in Northeast Texas is looking for a good experienced Ranch Hand for a full time, long term position. We are looking for a self-starter that can work unsupervised and be able to do some repairs and maintain the equipment as you go about your daily routine. Looking for someone willing to get the job accomplished and improve the ranch. A good work ethic goes a long way and we are easy to work with. We are looking for a stand up person that will give us an honest day’s work for an honest day’s pay. We have recently developed markets for several species of meat animals and will be adding these species to our enterprises as soon as possible. Experience with different species a big plus as well as being familiar with hiring/managing part time labor and interns.



We will provide the following:



1) Housing and DISH TV. You pay your electricity and water.

2) A work only cell phone.

3) A work truck for ranch business.



4) ½ beef per year. All the wild hogs you want to trap. All other game depends on lease status of property and game laws.



5) The salary is negotiable depending on experience.



You will provide:



Full ranch hand duties, including but not limited to: moving and monitoring grass fed/finished calves daily, working & feeding cattle and other animals, watching over the health of all farm animals, barn and tool room organization, fence building and repair, tree cutting and removal when necessary as well as maintaining ranch vehicles and preventative maintenance on equipment. Some mechanical/carpenter ability is required. Welding and fabrication knowledge is a plus. Must be able to operate a tractor at a minimum and be willing to learn other skills. Must be willing to use electric fencing for intensive grazing. Must be willing to take on new enterprises/species enthusiastically.
