Description:
Wanted - Ranch hand for eastern Montana cattle and horse ranch. We need someone to calve out 450 head of cows, tag calves, and take care of any doctoring needed. Cattle are calved in the pasture so must be able to ride and rope. Experience with starting colts and ability to trim and shoe is preferred.

No farming but we do put up our own hay in the summer. Normal ranch duties - chores, feeding, fencing, general maintenance, moving cattle, doctoring cattle and horses, starting colts, etc. etc. We do all our cattle work with horses.

We would like this to be a long term position with the option for you to run some of your own cattle with ours next year. Excellent opportunity for someone to get involved in the ranching business without the cost of land, and while getting a regular paycheck.

Small, older 2 bedroom house and utilities are provided. No smokers or drinkers, please.
