Description:
This is a used pair of handmade bell step in chaps made by Walker Doan from Clayton, NM. They are not maker marked. The body of the chaps is made out of about 5 ½ ounce black chap leather rough side out. The trim is tan smooth side out chap leather. There are cut outs of mud flap girls in the stiffeners. They have fringe, twenty four brass conchos, stainless belt buckle and a tie ring. There are stains and marks from use and pulled holes on the belt. There is a hole in the leather about a ½” long and several slots where it looked like someone re-laced the legs on the back of the right leg. A close up picture is included. There is enough leather to let the legs out about 1 ½” from the measurements given below. You would need to punch new slots and re-lace the legs. These would be a nice pair of chaps to wear.

Measurements: Waist -32” to 38”, Upper Thigh – 24 ½”, Knee – 16”, Length (outside top of yoke to bottom) – 37 Ύ”, Belt Strap Width – 1”, Fringe – up to 4 ½”, Concho Diameter – 1 ⅜”, Tie Ring Outside Diameter – 2 ½”
