Middle age couple with young child seeking permanent ranch employment. Honest, versatile, experienced Manager/ Cowboy/Camp Man/Trainer. Smoker. No drinking, drugs, or pets. We have horses. Extensive(35+ years) experience in all phases of commercial ranch: Cow/calf- Herd health, calving, feeding, gather, brand, etc. Low stress handling. Yearlings-Grass, wheat, feedyard - weaners to fats. Brand, sort, rope, doctor in pen or pasture. High altitude experience. Low stress handling. Horses-"Natural" horsemanship (Ray Hunt) -Halter, start colts. train cutting, roping, ranch using horses. Have done clinics, seminars, lessons. I don’t shoe. Maintenance-Fences, pens, waters, pipelines, roads, etc. Weld and run equipment. Limited mechanic, plumbing, electric. Pasture evaluation and management,livestock water management, wildlife and hunting. Extensive experience in all types of country, at most altitudes where livestock live (I haven’t been to the beach). Familiar with high altitude cattle problems(Brisket,footrot,bog,winter). We are self-sufficient, know how to live in remote places under adverse conditions. We are discussing home school.
