Description:
This Sonoran Hunter is 7 7/8 in overall length with a blade length of 3 3/8 inches. Handmade by Dave Ferry, this knife was designed for big game hunting and all around camp use. The blade is ground from A2 Tool Steel that has been heat treated to 60 Rockwell hardness. The very thinly ground primary bevel provides an incredibly sharp edge. The blade has been cryo tempered for enhanced performance and is satin finished. This heat treatment procedure on this steel produces a knife with superior edge holding ability and toughness. This is a proven design and steel that will not disappoint you under tough field conditions. This knife has a nickel silver bolster with a red/black spacers and a Desert Ironwood handle. Corby bolts have been used on the handle for additional strength. It comes with a right hand Slotted sheath in an oil tan finish. This knife design has been developed from extensive field use. When you have an elk down, darkness is near, a storm is coming in and you can here that bear out there...this is the knife you want.
