This is a top quality handmade leather purse. I am a professional leather crafter and have been doing leather work for over 18 years I pride myself in doing quality not quantity work. This bag carries my maker mark. It is made from a heavy weight bucktan and brown color chap leather(no thin fine leather like mass produced purses) and has a hand tooled flap on the front with a snap(snaps to the front of the purse body) .The flap and handle are hand carved with a Sheridan style and tooled by me and the pattern for the tooling was drawn by me ( not a mass produced pattern that someone can purchase). The flap is also surrounded by over 60 hand set metal spots.This bag has a chap zippered top(I use a chap zipper because they are very heavy duty) the top of the bag has a nice French rolled edge. This bag has a pocket on each side that will nicely fit a cell phone or keys and has a pocket on the back that is 4" tall and 5" wide. all sewing on this bag has been done with strong #277 thread not thin thread that will fray over time. The purse is lined with a country pattern heavy table cloth like fabric. The body of the bag (not including handles) measures 12 1/2" wide by 9" tall. This purse is a quality hand made on-of-a-kind item that has over 20 hours of work in it. Please email me with any questions you may have.
