Description:
Performance horse operation needs a ranch hand for feeding, haying, cleaning stalls, general maintenance, running tractor, and gathering cattle. Other duties may include loping show horses, breaking colts, exercising horses of other disciplines, helping with instructional clinics, working cattle, running errands, driving back and forth to the vet, etc. Some riding experience necessary, but this can be a learning opportunity for the right person. We are not looking for a show loper, but rather a responsible and hard-working person at home to keep the ranch in good working order and animals cared for. This position pays $300 a week in addition to housing, utilities, Directv, cell phone, and trash pick up. Arrangements for days off must be planned in advance. Must have a valid driver’s license, clean (or explainable) background check, reliable transportation, and references. Prefer a non-smoker. Single / married / married with family is fine, as long as you are reliable.
