Description:
Located 30 miles west of Salt lake City, Utah. We are one of the largest Quarter Horse breeders in the western United States, as well as running a commercial herd of cattle. We also offer clinics and do some showing. We are looking for someone who has a strong background and knowledge in the ranching and Horse training industry. Duties include, but not limited to general ranch duties, including fencing, tending to cattle, roping and doctoring cattle out on range. Must be very competent and comfortable starting & riding young colts. Will be getting horses ready to be sold at our annual production sale each August. Farrier skills a plus! During the summer months, most of our riding is out on range and during the winter months, we ride both outdoors and in our indoor facility. Qualified applicants will have a strong work ethic, be able to work alone or with others, and must enjoy the ranching lifestyle. Must be able to work effectively alone or be a team player. Qualified applicants must be in reasonable shape and condition and be able to perform physical duties. Only clean, honest, personable, hard working people need to apply. No Smoking or Drug use! Must be able to pass a background check. A valid driver’s license is required. Apartment type housing available. Includes electric & gas utilities paid for. Suitable for a married couple or small family. A signed agreement will be required for the house. Looking for someone long term, who wants to make this is permanent lifestyle.
