Description:
We have a beautiful horse property just north of Austin that is about 130 acres. We are looking for GOOD, HONEST, KIND, RESPECTFUL, PATIENT, EXPERIENCED and HARDWORKING individual to be our Ranch Manager. As our Ranch Manager you would be in charge of and responsible for doing all the maintenance of the property. If a job on the property is too big, you will be overseeing any outsourcing of work from others. Must be able to operate heavy machinery, safely. Have the ability to travel the grounds and see things for yourself to fix or clean (take care of the property and equipment as if it were your own). Also have the ability to listen well and execute tasks with out being asked several times to do that same task. At our property you will be mowing, shredding, trimming, fixing fences, doing handy-man work, maintaining equipment (mowers, tractors, trucks, water pumps etc). Not limited to these things but they are the main tasks. This is a horse property where the safety of the horses is our main priority, and would be yours as well. You MUST be an animal lover! We would love to find someone who loves to be outdoors and who loves to work the land! Have great attention to detail and works with the over all goal of saving money while working on a property that can have quite a few working expenses.

This property has 5 horses and we need to find someone who is comfortable around horses. Our ideal person is someone who will not only maintain the property but who will also tend to the horses on the weekends. The weekend horse work is much lighter than during the week and they would only need your care in the mornings and evenings. Talk about having some weekends off and also mondays and/ or tuesdays will be discussed. Who wants to work 7 days a week???? If you do, great! But we aren’t expecting you too : ) We are all human and need some play time!

We have a very nice 3bed/2bath double wide on the property for living quarters. So if you have a family.... great : ) You will have plenty of room.

We are a traveling family so during the times when we are gone, we would need your help with the family dogs and cats.

We take this very serious, this is a family property and if you got the job... you would be considered apart of our family. So TUST IS HUGE. So the necessary measures to make sure you are who you say you, your back ground is clean, who your references are and what they say about you.. will be very closely paid attention to.

This is a Salary position not hourly. We will discuss the exact amount which would be including room and board when we know exactly what you would be doing for us. So the exact salary amount is up for discussion, depending on you. Looking for immediate start.
