Description:
AGAPE YOUTH MINISTRY (AYM) is a non-denominational Christian, Bible-based 501(c)(3) nonprofit Arizona corporation, which established the AGAPE YOUTH RANCH. The mission of AYM is to help hurting / at-risk teens through hands-on Christian-based programs held at the Agape Youth Ranch, located in southeast Arizona at the base of the Chiricahua Mountains.



Qualifications required for this position include, but are not limited to:



- A High School Diploma or equivalent;

- Financial stability, i.e., having ample funds to provide for your needs or having the capability of raising missionary support, as this position is primarily self-supporting. AYM may provide a negotiated monthly supplement, if needed, plus housing & basic utilities;

- Born-again Christian, well-grounded in the Bible and actively living his faith;

- Knowledge and abilities to perform grounds-keeping responsibilities;

- General maintenance knowledge and abilities to be used in maintaining the Ranch facilities. Experience in HVAC, electrical, plumbing, general construction is highly desirable;

- Some knowledge and abilities to perform vehicle repairs would be helpful;

- Good organization skills, particularly involving tools and supplies, as well as scheduling;

- Cooperative, friendly, dependable, and a flexible team player (willing to wear many "hats;

- Ability to work under authority of the Ranch Director and/or the Ministry’s CEO;

- Enjoys working with teens;

- Enjoys working and living in a rural environment (ranching & farming);

- Must pass a background and drug test;

- Limit of 2 children in family preferred.



NOTE: A minimum of a two (2) year commitment is required.
