Description:
Medium sized cattle ranch in Southwest Montana seeking Farm boss for year round employment. Seeking long term employee. The applicant must have extensive experience in all aspects of quality hay production. Must know how to run round balers with net wrap and mechanic them. Must have experience in flood irrigation, reading weirs and brushing meadows. Must be able to supervise a hay & irrigation crew. Must be able to operate, maintain and repair tractors, feeders, ATV’s, ranch pick-ups, suburban’s and other farm machinery. Must be a welder. Other duties include cattle work, calving, fencing and feeding. Must have a positive attitude, good sense of humor and be a team player. Must be reliable and honest. Cattle knowledge is a plus. Salary $27,500. Position also includes three bedroom house, paid vacation, company truck for work, beef, bonuses and health insurance option. We have good equipment, vehicles, cattle and people.
