Description:
This is a lightly used pair of handmade step in bell chaps that are not maker marked. The body of the chaps is made out of about five and a half ounce cream colored Thiele chap leather rough side out. The yokes are smooth side out and the stiffeners are rough side out. Thiele leather is very good quality leather. They have one inside pocket, fourteen stainless conchos, a stainless tie ring, heavy harness leather belt with a stainless belt buckle. The back of the thighs are reinforced by doubling the leather with buck stitching around the leg opening. The leather around the thigh opening has a scalloped edge. The buck stitching is hand cut and beveled latigo lace leather. These chaps have not been used much at all but there are some oil stains where they brushed up against oily tack. These would be a great pair of using chaps that have lots of life left in them.
