We would accept positions in WY, CO, MT, NM, UT, NV, CA, AZ or ID. The ranch we are working at will soon be sold. There is a chance that the new owners will keep us on but nothing is for sure. We have many years of good experience and education with horse, cattle and guest ranches. We have a good work attitude and make the work day pleasant. Although we enjoy working with the cattle and horses most, we will help with all aspects of your operation. We do like interacting with guests and work well with others or on our own. We don’t drink alcohol, use tobacco or drugs (legal or illegal). We live and believe in the traditions and life style of ranching (old and new). We are very western, the way we dress, the way we act, the music we listen to, everything about us is western ranching. Our experience is vast to say the least “no brag just fact”. There probably aren’t very many jobs (tasks) we haven’t done. We don’t claim to know it all, in fact we like learning new ways of doing things. We will respect the way you will want the job done. We are in very good health and physical condition. We can work 7 days a week as long as it doesn’t get crazy. A day off a week would be good but it doesn’t always work that way. Our education is pretty good also. We don’t have any college degrees but we study a lot on our own. For example; “The method” with Clinton Anderson, we have read and continue to read books about cattle. The internet is a big part of our research and education. Right now we are working on an equine science degree through the Equine Science Academy. When we are not out riding we are always furthering our knowledge. We don’t spend a lot of time in front of the TV unless it’s watching an educational video. Our ideal job (situation) would be a ranch with plenty of cattle and horses to care for. Throw in a guest or two (family) that would like to experience the ranch life. Guests that would like to go out and move some cattle, fix some fence, move some water or work on a tractor. We are not stuck on this ideal situation. We would very much be up for just a horse ranch or just a cattle ranch or just a guest ranch.
