Description:
This is a lightly used pair of handmade step in bell leather chaps that were made by Crooked T Saddle Shop located in Morris, Oklahoma. They are marked on the belt with their maker stamp. The body of the chaps is made out of about 5 ½ to 6 ounce dark brown rough out chap leather and the yokes, stiffeners, and trim are light brown chap leather smooth side out. The pocket trim is light brown chap leather rough side out. They are buck stitched with black lace leather. They have two inside pockets and all brass hardware. There are a few stains and marks from use but no holes or tears in the leather. There is an extra set of slots punched in the legs so these chaps could be re-laced to enlarge the upper thigh to 26 ½”. These would be a good pair of using chaps.



Measurements:

Waist - 33” to 45”

Upper Thigh – 22 ½” or 26 ½” if re-laced in other slots

Knee - open

Length (outside top of yoke to bottom) - 39 ½”

Conchos diameter – 1 Ό”

Belt Strap Width – 1”

Tie Ring Outside Diameter – 2 ½”

Fringe – 5 ½”



** Measurement should be taken around the largest portion of the upper thigh. Making an allowance for the inside pocket these chaps will fit someone with a 22” thigh. If these chaps were re-laced in the additional slots they would work for someone with a 26 Ό” thigh.
