Description:
We are looking for an honest and reliable farm/ranch employee. Our operation is located near the Black Hills in western South Dakota.

This position requires a person that is responsible, motivated, and committed to excellence. Our operation maintains 600 cow/calf pairs with 150-180 head replacement heifers. We grow silage corn, small grain, and alfalfa hay. Calves are weaned in the fall, backgrounded and developed in our own facilities and then sent to Nebraska to be finished as fat cattle. In 2009 we were chosen as the commercial Certified Angus Beef producer in the United States.

Basic mechanical skills, maintenance, and operation of farm equipment, feeding and care of stocker cattle are a must. Common sense, dependability, and integrity are needed. We expect this person to treat co-workers, our animals, facilities, and equipment with respect. We run late model machinery.

This operation is located on a school bus route and includes housing. References and resume required. Salary depends on experience.
