Description:
Seeking a Farm Hand for our south central Oregon alfalfa ranch who knows what farming and ranching is all about. One who is willing to put in the time needed to get the job done. Duties include but are not limited to swathing, raking, baling, stacking, hay squeeze, operation of farm implements, maintaining & servicing equipment, pivot irrigation. We need someone who is neat, organized and willing to put long hours as necessary. Must have recent experience and possess a valid driver’s license, be honest, motivated, self-starter and have good work ethics. This is a drug and smoke-free workplace.



This position is full time. We are looking for someone who can get the job done and doesn’t need to be followed up on. Priority will be given to applicants with experience in alfalfa crop production from planting to harvest. We also maintain a small cow/calf herd. This portion of the job requires working with all aspects of the ranching operation from calving, pasture doctoring, branding, weaning, feeding, and working cattle; fence building and repair. Keep in mind; this is not a buckaroo job.
