Description:
This is a pair of used handmade step in bell chaps made by a working cowboy from Amarillo, Texas. They are not maker marked. The chaps are made out of about 5 ½ ounce gold chap leather rough side out. The yokes, pocket trim, and stiffeners are burgundy pebbled grain leather smooth side out. They are buckstitched with tan lace leather. They have one outside pocket, a skirting leather belt, and fringe. They are reinforced at the top of the thighs. There are stains from use and some buckstitch missing at the bottom of one leg but no holes or tears. There is one piece of buckstitch missing at the bottom of one leg. This would be a nice pair of using chaps already broke in and ready to go to work.

Knee – open

Length (outside top of yoke to bottom) - 36”

Belt Strap Width - 1”

Fringe – approximately 3”
