Description:
We are looking for a self motivated individual who has verifiable ranch experience and has good, solid, positive references. No drugs or alcohol abuse will be permitted. Candidate must be able to work well with cattle, equipment, and other employees. Most cattle work is done on 4-wheeler, though horses are also used. If you want to be a full time cowboy, this is not the job for you. Mechanical ability is a plus and is encouraged. We are a family run operation and we treat our employees with respect. We expect the same in return. Duties may include, but are not limited to, calving, branding, fencing, farming, construction,etc. Housing, utilities, and beef are provided as well as competitive wages based on experience. The ranch is 30 miles from the closest small town, 23 miles from schooling (though school bus comes right to ranch), 80 miles to closest Wal-Mart.
