About Me: • Ranch Experience: I have 1 year of hands-on experience working on cow-calf operations in Wyoming and Colorado, including sorting, tagging, calving, feeding, fencing (barbed and electric), irrigation, haying, and general ranch maintenance. I’ve moved cattle across varying terrains using ATVs. While I haven’t worked with horses yet, I’m open to learn. • Skilled Labor Background: I bring nearly 20 years of experience in landscaping and home remodeling. I’m comfortable operating heavy equipment (skid steers, trenchers, excavators, bucket trucks), managing crews, and handling anything thrown my way. • Strong Work Ethic: I show up every day with a can-do attitude, ready to work hard, learn quickly, and adapt to the needs of the ranch. • Family-Oriented: My wife and I don’t drink or smoke, we have no pets, and we keep a clean, respectful living environment. Family is very important to me, so I’m seeking a position that honors a healthy work-life balance. What I’m Looking For: • Family-Friendly & Professional Environment: I thrive in a respectful, professional atmosphere where I’m treated fairly and can focus on my work. • Location: I prefer a position in Colorado due to existing connections to autism resources for my children. That said, I’m open to other Western states or anywhere in the U.S. for the right opportunity. • Housing: On-site housing is a must. It doesn’t need to be fancy, just clean, safe, and big enough for my family of 4. • Proximity to Town: Preferably within 1 to 1.5 hours of a Walmart or similar town, but this is flexible. • Compensation: Open to discussing fair pay with room for increases as I grow into more responsibilities. • Beef Allowance: Preferred, but not a dealbreaker. • Start Date: I’m available now and open to a 1-month trial period if paid bi-weekly during that time (otherwise, I’m used to monthly pay).
